It was in 2018 that Oana Dinea and Cecilia Miranda, president and co-founder of the association, initiated "Closer Comm'Unity," a concept of classical music concerts performed in unconventional spaces to break with the tradition of large venues and distance from the audience. Offering a different vision of the concert in a simple setting, Oana Dinea expresses herself and speaks with the audience, mixing the arts and reinventing the stage to become one with the audience and make today's classical concert alive and accessible to all.
Romanian-born pianist Oana Dinea studied with Elisabeth Athanassova and Dominique Weber at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève. After obtaining her bachelor's degree and two master's degrees - Concert and Music Pedagogy - she felt the need to get closer to the public through more intimate classical music events and created CLOSER.
Program :
Frédéric Chopin - Nocturnes and mazurkas
Isaac Albéniz - Spanish Suite, op. 47
