The notion of mobility characterises the shapes obtained, the oloid that rolls and turns over in the same movement and that is unstoppable, or the Moebius strip, a ribbon with a single face and a topological feat that mimics the infinite. That such grace is born of such sophisticated calculations is simply amazing. Eva von Rohr’s sculptures are so compelling and convey such a pure, heartfelt message that one wonders how work so physical can produce such a feeling of harmony and spirituality?
