For the ninth edition of CourtsCarouge, filmmakers will fashion their creation around the theme of ‘Head in the stars’. If we are to believe the definition, ‘having your head in the stars’ is to be a bit disconnected from reality, even a dreamer. So for this edition, amateur and professional filmmakers will explore their dreams, their interior world, their intimate space, their universe. And if the fancy takes them, they will go from the infinitely little to the infinitely large, the cosmos. The sky is the limit, as the Anglo-Saxons say. The chairman of the jury, François-Christophe Marzal, will present the awards to the winners in the renovated festival hall. ‘Nuggets’ and finds are on the programme of this evening, which promises, as always, to be full of emotion.
